Patricia Ehrhart
Instructor

Pat Erhart is a Registered Nurse with 47 years experience in all areas of Maternal Care. She first fell in love with Maternal Child Heath during her nursing school experience.  She was fortunate to remain in Obstetrics throughout her career. Pat also co-founded The Pregnancy Loss Support Group of Austin and continued to facilitate this group from 1988 to 2017. She retired from nursing in 2014 and has enjoyed traveling and spending more time with her daughter's families which includes six grandchildren.

Preparation is key for any new experience: and Pat has seen firsthand how preparation can make all the difference in the this new chapter of a couple's life called "parenthood".  Her love for teaching and working with young parents is what has brought her out of retirement and back to the classroom. The goal for her classes is to provide a relaxed environment for learning incorporating written materials, video, and demonstrations designed to empower parents to feel confident as they stand on the threshold of parenthood.
